If you model a semi-circle in 2d axi-symmetric it&#8217;s a sphere (sort of) but you&#8217;ll not see any asymmetry in the flow. <br \/>\nDifferences in values from analytical solutions vary, but are often mesh or comparison related. Ie for the latter are you comparing the same data?
