What are the appropriate contact conditions for structural sim?

      Whenever I attempt to perform a static structural analysis of a model with more than a single component, it cannot converge to a solution. I think this must have something to do with the contact conditions being applied inappropriately, as there are never issues for a single solid body. I have two bodies as a single part, with a frictional contact specified.

      Please insert images into your reply. Show the geometry, the supports, the loads and the contact definitions. Show the Analysis Settings.

      Thanks Peter! in addition to these, also check the error messages in solver output and try searching them on the forum to see if you find any useful solutions!
