system coupling for arc simulation or mhd process

      Hello,

Could you please share an example of some simple two-way coupling fluent-maxwell problem (MHD or arc discharge simulation)?

I've read the section in the help regarding system coupling, but many things remain unclear. It's necessary to create two variables: "Make the Lorentz force and electrical conductivity variables (lorentz-force and electrical-conductivity, respectively) available by enabling an appropriate model (such as a battery model)." What exactly is meant by "variables"? Is it UDS, UDM, expressions, or something else? Can I create the necessary UDS myself, or is it mandatory to use modules? Similar questions apply to Maxwell.

Ultimately, when building the project in system coupling, the lorentz-force variable doesn't appear.

Could you please provide a more detailed description or demonstration of how to implement this task using syscoupling? Additionally, I would like to receive a more detailed answer regarding the limitations of such modeling. Can I use "fluent_transient – Maxwell_harmonic", "fluent_transient - Maxwell_magnetostatic", etc.?

Thank you very much in advance for your response.

There are a few examples here, https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v241/en/sysc_tut/sysc_tut.html  click on Help in either solver and it's the System Coupling section of documentation.

Thank you for the answer. But among these examples there is not a single one similar. There is no example in which I have to create a UDS for coupling flunet. These examples use predefined variables such as the temperature field or volumetric power field but they already exist and are immediately available.

That's all I can share at present. There may be additional materials in the future releases. Other community members may be able to assist further.
