Hi,
I'm trying to model suction slots on a 2D flat plate. Currently, I am splitting the upper surface of the flat plate, and setting the "split section" as a velocity inlet with a negative velocity. Is there a better/ more common way to model suction? Would a velocity outlet be better instead of a velocity inlet? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

It's an approach. What is the purpose of the model? It's a little difficult to give a good answer without more details, and it's also then possible that I won't be permitted to answer!
