SpaceClaim Not Showing Up as Geometry Editor in ANSYS Workbench

      Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue where SpaceClaim doesn’t show up as a geometry editor option in ANSYS Workbench (Tools > Options > Geometry Import). The only option available is DesignModeler.

      Here’s what happened:
I installed Workbench first, and after noticing SpaceClaim wasn’t available, I installed SpaceClaim separately. It runs fine on its own, but Workbench still doesn’t recognise it as a geometry editor.

Has anyone run into this issue before? Is there a way to manually link SpaceClaim to Workbench after installing it?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

      Best,
      Gonçalo Veríssimo

      Hi Verissimo,

      perform a product config.

Please try below steps with your admin, goto “C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v251” and run ProductConfig.exe as an admin> Click on Unconfigure Products and CADs> Select all> Click on Next… and let it complete.

Again, relaunch it as an admin> Click on Configure Products and CADs> Manually Select All> Click on Next (Select Automatically detect my CAD installation and configure it) and let it complete.
