September 25, 2024 at 8:22 pmlidianne.pintoSubscriberDear,ÂHow are the loading and boundary conditions defined for a simply supported plate subjected to pure shear in the buckling analysis? For the resultant of the applied forces to have a magnitude of 1 N/m, do I need to apply Nxy=sqrt(2)/2 N/m on the sides? Or should it be Nxy= 1 N/m?Note: Nxy* load_multiplier = Ncr

It seems like pure shear would be the second loading, Nxy=sqrt(2)/2 N/m on the sides. Â
