I'm trying to desgin Polarization Beam Split system in Zemax. The PBS transmits P-pol beam and blocks(reflect) S-pol beam.
The S-pol beam from emitter reflected at PBS, then reflected at the wall. I expected that after lambertian reflection at the wall, the light become random polarization beam so the light would transmit at PBS. But the polarization state doesn't vanished then the light reflects back to the source.
I want to know how to make the beam random polarized after lambertian reflection. Thanks for your help.

Hi John,
Thank you for reaching out to us! May I ask you whether you have come across to this community post: Are the Zemax built in surface scatter models correct when it comes to polarization?
It seems that another user had similar request with you and one of my colleagues has created a specific DLL: DLL (Surface Scatter) Non-Sequential Lambertian Depolarizer
Let me know if that works for you as well, otherwise can you give me some more information of what exactly you want to achieve? A schematic or a screenshot of yout layout plot would be helpful here.
Kind Regards,
Niki
