problem on apply a follower load

my problem is Large defection of a curved cantilever beam under nonconservative tangential end load

      the load R=2400 N

(see figure ) , i use a hyperelastic material so i model my beam as solid and i use solid186 element because beam188 element not support a hyperelasticity

i try to apply a follower load , so o find this extension from ansys

      https://catalog.ansys.com/product/5bb222520750d7e4d73293d5/follower-loads

I followed all the steps mentioned in the pdf that came with it but it not work and not converge

i create a remote point on the face of the free end of beam with new coordinate system and aplly the follower load

the problem is that the load applied on the top edge of the beam and not on the face with y direction

this is the result that ansys give

but the real deformation of the beam  supposed to be like this

this is my project , i need to fix the problem

      Hi,

Please see if the following link helps: How can one define a follower load in Mechanical? - Ansys Knowledge

Did you try changing the coordinate system to desired orientation?

      Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I have applied a follower load on my model but the stress/deformation results are extremely low (10^-13). How can i fix that?
