Hi every one. Appreciate your input into this issue I am having.Â
- Coextrusion problem (2 dies merging together on the interface to form a free surface (extrudate))
- Meshing:Â
- inflation on both dies
- sweep method for the free surface (with bias, body sizing, and edge sizing)
Problem: trying to manually select the source for sweep on the shared faces (where the inflations end) and it does not let me do that.Â
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

First use Right Click on Mesh and use Show → Sweepable bodies. It should show cylindrical die as sweepable body. If not then there may be sliver face somewhere.Â
With Sweep method, you will need to define inflation on face. Here you will need to define it on Outler. So you need to select that face and edge while defining inflation on that face. Then you will need to use outlet as source face in sweep. This should give you sweep mesh in cylindrical die.Â
For conical die, it is not clear from image if it is sweepable or not. You may want to split it at different locations to make it sweep.Â
