I am a Master of Science student at Politecnico di Milano. I conducted some simulations for my thesis for the numerical modeling of static tests of woven carbon fibers by using MAT59. The failure criterion of the material card exists but in terms of the damage model, I could not find any document.Â
In early mentions, it is answered that Cheng. W and Hallquist model can be used, however, the link is inactive now. I would like to know if you can share a link or another source that contains the mathematical expressions of the damage model.Â
I have a thesis presentation in two weeks and I still do not know which damage model this material card uses, so I am desperate to get some help.
Thank you in advance!

Hi
Post this in the dedicated LS-Dyna forum.
/forum/forums/forum/discuss-simulation/ls-dyna/
State also your question clearly, so say like "do you have a document or reference describing the physics/theory used in MAT59"?
All the best
Erik
