Hello everyone,Â
I'm building up a model with rocky dem, where small spherical particles (5mm) are flying through a room with high velocity (max. 75 m/s).Â
In between the particels will have contact with the floor, housing and a rotating knife, which accelerates the particles.Â
I now wanted to ask, if someone was working with somethin similar and maybe know's which impact static, dynamic friction and rolling resistance have.Â
The contact is so short that i can imagine that the influence is very small. What are your opinions on this?
Thanks in advance and kind regardsÂ

To an extent it'll depend on the particle-solid contact response. Ie how sticky/bouncy the material pair are as well as contact angle. You may be better off running both scenarios to determine what's important in your application.Â
