SubscriberHello, I downloaded Ansys academic student 2019R3 WINX64, and when installing the software in my computer, I start by executing the setup as administrator, then it finishes all the installation, but it does not create the ansyslmd.ini file due to permission problems, and I don?t know if I should give another permission. In the past, I remember that sometimes for installing certain software I was requested to deactivate the antivirus, but I would not expect that to be a problem now.Thank youn -

Forum ModeratorThe Student version does not use the ansyslmd.ini file so it shouldn't be creating one. You will need to update the licensing as outlined in this post as the license built in 2019R3 has expired. /forum/discussion/19805/how-to-renew-ansys-student-product-license#latestnnThanksnMattn -
