Grating Coupler Simulation

  Hi I am working on Grating Coupler design. I saw a video on youtube, in that a video, a guy uses a monitor to measure refractive index of two adjacent grating regions. Using these two grating regions, he gets refractive index and calculated avg effective index for grating design. Please help me to get effective index of two adjacent regions in lumerical?
