I make a calculation in static analysis when a tooth goes onto a protrusion, and I also analyze its fatigue. I move the tooth with displacement and see what the force reaction is.
Question. Is it possible to see what the force reaction is when specifying the number of fatigue cycles?
For example, how is the safety margin specified: -

Ansys EmployeeThe Mechanical Fatigue Tool (FT) does not calculate forces. You need to extract the force from Mechanical. The Safety Factor is the multiplier on the applied load that will produce the specified design life.
