SubscriberDear Ansys Community,
Greetings!Â
I am student college and trying to simulate 2D two phase of air, sodium chloride and glucose in vertical mini pipe. When been trying to Run Calculation on my model in ANSYS fluent, it keeps coming back to me with a message 'Floating Point Exception' on simulation.Â
Â
I have attached information about meshing specifications that i made :
and here is nodes and elements that i got :
Please could have some guidance on what is causing the solution to reach the floating point exception error and fail to solve after so long successfully running?
Thank YouÂ

Forum ModeratorThe jump in cell size won't help, nor will the high aspect ratio in place. Inflation meshes have their use, but for multiphase they're usually just high aspect ratio cells near a wall.Â
From there check the mesh resolution relative to the phase fraction gradients and other model settings.Â
