SubscriberHi guys, I'm importing the deformed state of a concrete beam. The model consists of a concrete beam and reinforcement in it, the reinforcement is modeled - Reinforcement

Ansys EmployeeYou can apply an initial state to reinforcements. Have a look at 14.5. Applying an Initial State to Reinforcing Elements .

Subscriberekostson, thank you so much for your answer, perhaps your answer is the solution to my problem. In my test problem, I used the command:

Subscriberekostson,I disassembled your team thanks again everything works well, but I still have a question. When I use the regular concrete material model, I'm fine, when I switch to the Menetrey-Willam model, I get warnings and the calculation is complete.

element types:
My test model is very simple, as I understand it, the INISTATE command - conflicts with something.

SubscriberAnd again, hello everyone, the question about which I wrote above can be removed, I understood what the problem was. But I have one more question !!! I noticed that stresses and deformations are not transferred from the reinforcement to the concrete, this can be seen in the picture below:
If you look closely at the results, the stresses and deformations change only in the reinforcement.
Insert Team from ekostson:
ESEL,s,ename,,REINF264
INISTATE,SET,CSYS,-2
INISTATE,SET,DTYP,EPEL
INISTATE,DEFINE,,,,,-0.01
ALLSEL,ALL
In this test, we consider a conventional concrete model.
