I apologise if this question has been asked before, some things before I explain my issue:
Running a 2D bubbing fluidised bed simulation with DDPM, and injecting with unsteady file injection method.
My question is whether the "diameter" refers to particle diameter (and Fluent in the background calculates a parcel diameter), or whether it is the parcel diameter. Or does it even matter as DDPM does not deal with collisions (apart from walls).
If it is the parcel diameter how does one go about conversion from particle diameter to parcel diameter? I would guess you could make a calculation based on the knowing that 2D parcels in fluent a Cylinders and going from there.
Thanks in advance
Sam
