SubscriberHello Lumerical Community,
We are trying to upload a dispersion file for a nonliner fiber HN1550P in Ansys Interconnect. The dispersion file is formatted as,
198503355635329 8.21262086e-07 15.6462298435371
198214693524642 8.55503579e-07 15.2309439181293
197926869604809 8.88804853e-07 14.8211591577805
197639880490922 9.21179588e-07 14.4168014533436
197353722296489 9.52641278e-07 14.0177970376352
197068391677171 9.83203237e-07 13.6240739293724
...It gives the following errors,
We are unable to manually edit the dispersion table either, since it always changes to default values once reopened. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could kindly provide a correct format.
In addition, once a file is uploaded, we could no longer change to other files. Is there an option to clear historical files?
Thank you very much for your time and help.
Kind regards,

Ansys EmployeeHello, I think there might be a bug in this feature, it doesn't seem to be possible to use frequency dependent dispersion properties with either the dispersion table or external file. Sorry about that, I will report this to the development team. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
At the moment, it only seems to work when "parameters" is used for "dispersion specification". I think you will have to approximate the dispersion properties of the fiber with the dispersion and dispersion slope at a single frequency for now.
