Hi, I am simulating an axial flux motor to determine the stator core loss.
The B-H curve is inserted and I wonder if this setting is correct.
I don't know what the Stacking factor used means. I can't seem to find any exact information even after searching.
Also, I'm curious about what criteria are used to set the stacking direction.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciatedÂ

The stacking factor refers to a value that represents the actual proportion of magnetic material in a stack of laminations, considering the presence of air gaps or insulation between the laminations. This factor will be used to adjust the magnetic properties of the material to account for the reduced amount of magnetic material in the electromagnetic simulation.Â
