Thanks so much for your reply. nI am a little unclear on the process still - this is quite new to me. nMy current procedure on solving a .cas on the remote High Performance Computers in the first place is to write a .jou file and upload a related .sh file to the same location, then run the command below.nqsub Filename.shnWould your suggested method work to post-process the previously submitted case (that has solved)?n.cse /forum/discussion/comment/97412#Comment_97412.res -

I am not sure if your cluster management allows you to do interactive things. For that reason you always can use batch post-processing with CFD-Post.n

Either you do the post-processing inside Fluent and there you need to start with at least -gu .driver null or to post-processing separately on the cluster using CFD-Post or EnSight. My cluster does allow me to connect with an interactive GUI. But, I am most interested in batch post-processing via CFD-post. My aim is to produce a .wmv file from the velocity contours of my solve at each time step, with the time value labelled.nIs there any documentation or tutorials you'd recommend to read up on this?nThanks so much for your help @DrAmine, !n -
November 16, 2020 at 12:53 pmDrAmineAnsys EmployeePlease read the CFD-Post documentation. If you are just interested in having animation, better to tell Fluent to export high quality pictures and create animations after the run finished using ffmpeg or Ansys EnVe.n
