      Hello everyone ,

      can anyone kindly explain to me how to use the APDL command by Archard's law for wear in Ansys workbench?. I read the guide and entered the following command string before the solution module:

      K=0,001

      H=210000000000

      m=1

      n=1

      TB,WEAR,1,,,ARCD

      TBFIELD,TIME,0

      TBDATA,1,K,H,m,n

      TBFIELD,TIME,1

      TBDATA,1,K,H,m,n

      I don't understand how to get and plot results in the contact area. Could someone help me up, please? Thanks in advance.

      I'm not sure, but I think it is simply a Deformation plot. The wear model updates the position of the nodes, causing "deformation" that represents the wear. Make a simple model and verify.

      Did you read Chapter 43 of the Technology Guide on Contact Surface Wear Simulation?
