      Hi experts!

I have a thin-walled solid with one face containing many small faces and another face containing no small faces. When creating the mesh, I selected ‘Sweep’ for the Method; ‘Manual Thin’ for Src/Trg Selection; and ‘All Quad’ for Free face Mesh Type. Why are three warnings displayed after the meshing is complete? I specified that the source face should consist entirely of quadrangular meshes, yet triangular meshes still appeared.

Looking at the mesh you've got a very fine resolution on the beams(?) but a coarse mesh on the panels. Ansys Meshing has to switch from one size to the other so likely just can't do that with hex. The scoping likely means a size setting has been partially ignored. Did you set any face sizing as "hard"?

        Dear Rob!

Thank you very much for your reply. I haven’t set any face sizing as "hard".

OK. I'm just a bit surprised about the jump in cell size from the beams to panels.
