SubscriberHii,Â
Is there a way to export all result data to one excel sheet?
Without having to export every result seperately.

SubscriberHi Daphne,
Please be more specific. What type of result? What type of analysis?
Have you looked at the Report Preview tab at the bottom of the Graphics window?

SubscriberHii!Â
I'm working in ansys mechanical (static structural analysis) trying to get the deformation and stresses from my model. Using a tabular data to simulate the changing force on the model. This gives me multiple deformation and stress data, I generated solutions per step. These solutions i can export to excel individually, i want to export those solutions at once if possible. I did look at the report option, this doesn't give me all the calculated data only the extremes(min/max).
Is this possible?
Thanks for your time!

SubscriberHi Daphne,
I'm still not sure exactly what you want to export to excel all at once. Do you mean you right click on a stress plot and get the Export menu and pick Text file?
In the screen snapshot below, I have four Results for stress. This model had multiple time steps. If I right click on one I can create a stress plot for each time step.
Maybe a better question is why do you want to export to Excel? What are you doing in Excel? Perhaps a better question is how to you do in ANSYS what you are doing in Excel.

SubscriberHi peteroznewman,
I have come across this thread because I am after the same. The reason why I need to export the data to Excel is because I need to manipulate the data combining different stresses at different time steps and to plot some of them. I was wondering if there is a script or something similar to automate the action that you are showing in your first image as I end up doing that same action approx. 20 to 30 times.

Thanks..!!! Â

SubscriberA few years late, but in case anyone else comes here to answer this one:
To export a bunch of data sets in this fashion (without having to use APDL) you can select all your Solution entities, for instance probe temperatures, and then click the "Chart" button. This will make a chart BUT also there will be a single table in the "Tabular Data" window, which you can then right-click on and export as a single file.Â

Subscriber.dmfarley You just saved my skin. This is exactly what I was looking for. One of my studies has hundreds of results to pour over, so this is going to save me hours of work
