SubscriberI am trying to get my model of a cross flow fan to generate some results in Fluent CFD Post, but all I get is nothing when I try to do a simple 3D streamline starting from the inlet. My model consists of two parts: the impeller and a duct. I am a beginner with ANSYS Student, and I am having trouble especially with how to set up the geometry in Design Modeller and then the mesh. I believe this is where the source of the problem is. I load the files, and created an enclosure around the duct and the impeller to make them both fluid domains. I use a boolean operation to subtracted the impeller enclosure from the larger duct enclosure, label my inlet, outlet, walls, etc, then generate the mesh. In Setup, I make the impeller (a fluid) frame motion (-1000 RPM) on the Y axis, velocity inlet and pressure outlet, regular SST K-Omega model, hybrid initialization, time is steady. When I run a calculation using function calculation I get 0N force on outlet.
