Hello Grant,

No, it does not matter if you have an academic license. It seems that your site is using the LSTC license to run LS-DYNA and the “REVISION 15″ option is missing in the license file. You will need a new license file with the REVISION 15 option in it to run R15. You can contact your Ansys account manager to get a new license file. Check with your license administrator at your site to update the license file.

The error message is:

 

You need the following line in the server_data (license file) file in the LSTC License Manager installation directory on the license server:

OPTION: REVISION 15
