There is an example in Forte tutorial which you can refer for guidance on sector modelling of Diesel engine combustion.

Also what is the current sector angle you are considering (how many nozzle holes are there in the injector). Since the simulation with full geometry is working - I'm assuming your chemistry file and chemistry setup should be correct.

What is the pressure and temp rise during the compression stroke and are the fuel getting vaporized completely ? These would help in figuring out the issue on why the combustion is not happening.
