Hi Jose,

May I know how many cores are you using while launching fluent, by default you can you only 4 for free student version.

Please try to clear the cache and reset the configuration by renaming below folders.

Rename the Ansys folder (type %appdata% in address bar) to Ansys.old, .fluentconfig folder (C/Users/username) to .fluentconfig.old, .cfx to .cfx.old to clear configuration, .ansys folder (type %temp% in address bar) to .ansys.old to clear the cache. Also, while launching the fluent application click on RESET (fluent launcher utility) and then start it.

Which package have you installed? Are you able to launch the standalone fluent application, if no then can you goto start menu search for fluent 20xx Rx > right-click and open file location> Again right-click on fluent shorcut and hit on properties> check if the path mention in Traget is correct.
