Dear ANSYS Support Team,

I am encountering an issue with the automatic report generation in ANSYS Fluent. Despite modifying the geometry view in the Graphics Window and ensuring synchronization of all views, the report does not reflect these changes. Instead, the report seems to use a default geometry view, ignoring the adjustments made in the visualization window.

Details of the Issue:

  • Software Version: [Insert Fluent version, e.g., ANSYS Fluent 2024 R2]
  • Steps Taken:
    1. Adjusted the geometry view manually (e.g., rotated, zoomed, and panned the view).
    2. Synchronized all window views using the View menu.
    3. Generated the report using the automatic report generation feature.
    4. Observed that the geometry view in the report remains unchanged, reverting to a default perspective.

Expected Behavior:

The report should capture and display the geometry view as set in the Graphics Window during the report generation process.

Questions:

  1. Is there a specific step or setting to ensure the active view is captured in the report?
  2. Can the default geometry view in the report be customized or overridden with a manual selection?
  3. Could this behavior be related to a bug or a missing configuration in the software?
