So, no way to have back the old behavior by changing settings? Or no other way to stop the execution without going to subsequent commands?

When you talk about enhancements to the system you refer to future releases?

I would really refrain from calling the usage of the exit-fluent file as best approach, as this means that the session gets closed each time I have to stop a journal. Restarting the session, reloading the case, and the data, might be very time consuming for heavy models.
