Did you download and install the qINTERCONNECT installer/package from the Ansys customer portal downloads page?  <<qINTERCONNECT installation guide – Ansys Optics >>

The Lumerical install and API path are: 

C:\Program Files\Lumerical\v242\bin
C:\Program Files\Lumerical\v242\api\python
