I would encourage you to look at the workshop I have mentioned before “Maxwell Advance Motor Training/ Cogging Torque / WS02.1”. Here you will find step by step explanation about how to compute the cogging torque and how to get the initial angle value. For this calculation I would advise to use the Magnetostatic solver.
