Ensure that the time step size is appropriate for the simulation. If it's too large, the interaction between the particles and the fluid may not be resolved properly, leading to incorrect particle behavior.
Since you modified the SPH element size, make sure that the resolution of the SPH elements is sufficient to capture the dynamics of the fluid-particle interaction. You might need to adjust the SPH particle size or the smoothing length to improve the accuracy of the simulation.
Also, ensure that gravity is correctly set.
