Hello Peter,

Thank you for sharing the link for brake working principle. It was helpful in understanding the working of brakes. 

Regarding the translational joint the brakepad is defined as rigid.

The main area of interest for this analysis is determining equivalent stress and total deformation in brakedrum. So should I still go ahead and model the brakepad- brakeshoe assembly?
