As Peter correctly mentioned SC doesn't split the faces on import. Please use the repair tool as Peter mentioned.Â
In addition to this, Can you try to import the geometry in the SC after unchecking the "Improved data imported" option? l am not sure how much it will be helpful but you can try this and let us know.
