Hi

 

Split the beam at the location where the RBE2 spider will be then:

 

Using a connection/joint of fixed type ( a fixed joint):

Fixed – Surf 2 To Line Body – Scoped
 
Between shell hole edge and vertex on the beam (can not be scoped to a node, but where there is vertex there is a node, hence why we split the beam there).
