Could you please let us know what type of contact are you using between the airbag and the structure? 

I would recommend starting with CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_SURFACE_TO_SURFACE with SOFT = 1 and it might be required to scale the contact thickness on the airbag side e.g., 1 mm.
