Diiferential equations are used to derive value from the function expression. For instance, you defined some function as SIN(2*PI*TIME), and you want to find out the velocity and displacement for this function. You can make this function an acceleration by using the second order diiferential equation. For this differential equation, you can use DIF21 and DIF20 to get the velocity and the displacement.
