The few changes I made are described above. It will be good practice for you to apply them yourself.

One problem with this model is there is no tension in the wire. There is no opposing spring on the other side that is tensioning the wire. Moving parts with practically zero tension in the wire can lead to instability. Add a resisting spring on the opposite side of the link for the wire to pull against.
