Unfortunately this question is the beyond the scope for Ansys employees to answer on a public forum, so hopefully other student community users can chime in. But I can provide some generic comments based on the minimum understanding I could gather from your post. Particle flow can be modeled using appropriate particle models in Ansys Fluent or using Flexible fiber models in Ansys Rocky coupled with fluid field from Ansys Fluent. Life prediction may depend on what kind of physical wear conditions need to be incorporated (chemical wear, erosion, vibration etc.)
