Below I show you a comparative image of the results obtained by increasing the mass of the particle while maintaining the density difference between the rigid body and the fluid. There's no significant difference, which gives me more options for analyzing a 3D model.

 

I've been able to carry out validations with the sedimentation of the circle, and I have had good results.

These are the results of the velocity field for different times, very close to each other before the divergence. I also include the report of the residuals, I'd like to know if u perceive what may be happening?
