even i tried with beam elements and when i m trying to push from one end the beam elements got breaked and came out and i have seen the discussion in that case the belt can we drawn to race track shape due to tension but in my case the wire has to pass through the hole and it wont be possible to draw the wired part whith those bents and i think spring helps in providing the initial tension in the wire
