Hi Ashish,

Unfortunately no.  Following that link, Nanda Veralla suggests to:

  1. Go to the Start Menu and open %temp% folder. Search for ‘.ansys’ folder and rename it to ‘.ansys.old’ then launch the application.
  2. Open a file explorer and type %appdata% in the address bar.

Locate the Ansys folder --> select version (V231) and rename it to V231.old

I did #1 but when tried #2 I could not find an ansys folder in appdata.

So I tried rerunning it after renaming .ansys to .ansys.old, but same error.

I am using 2019 R3 by the way.

I then followed Gary Stofan's link that is linked on that site.  I tried retaining design points.  I went to "Tools > Options > Appearance…scroll down to “Beta Options” and check the box".  Then made some parameters like maximum stress and followed the instructions to retain design points.  But that didn't help.  Same error.

I also did not find a file with the name ansyswbdumpfile.dmp.

Still looking for help getting this basic run to work!
