你说的光锥，是不是Light Line，即光在均匀介质中的频率与波矢的关系？

如果是，基本上就是用你说的方法计算，参见能带结构例子中的脚本。因为是平面波，可以直接计算波矢。

至于第二个问题，禁带一定需要两种不同介质，而且差别越大越容易形成。当然，部分禁带partial bandgap 和全波段禁带full bandgap, or simply bandgap，根据需要设计。
