Hi RK, thanks for your time. So, this problem occurs in any case of fluent simulation attempt that I was performing. In this case what I was simulating is a shell and tube heat exchanger with 4 passes through the tubes, one pass through the shell and 4 baffles. Through the tubes flows liquid water at 22.5°C and through the shell flows steam at 105°C, just for heat transfer analysis. Both fluids flow in parallel flow. My mesh consists of approximately 15 million elements. I connect to the computer in my university laboratory remotely, my computer is a 6-core computer and the computer to which I connect to do all this simulation is a 12-core computer.
