I tried creating thin slab using fill option in DesignModeler. It is working. No extra parts are forming.
I have two more doubts.
Actually, this domain (assembly of Mold and Thin slab) is created in Solidworks and imported into DesignModeler by changing the assembly file format to ".step" file format. All required dimensions are there and the assembly file has no errors. It did not show any error after importing into DesignModeler. But, these extra parts are coming while the geometry transfer to meshing.
My questions are
If we have this kind of geometry where there is contact between two curved surfaces, is it always advisable or prefer to create those parts in DesingModeler or SpaceClaim ?
Is there any setting we can do in DesingModeler or SpaceClaim (such as decreasing tolerances) so that these kinds of contact problems will be adjusted automatically ?
