Hello,
I sincerely apologize for my short answer. But, it was answering your question as Windows 8.1 is not supported.
Windows 10 is the minimum required OS.
One item you can check is to open the Windows Event Viewer and look at the Application and System Logs to see if there are any errors at the time of
the program crashing.
