SubscriberWhat is the correct method of finding contact stresses and bending stresses of two gears in static structural ? Some research papers have put Moment and frictionless support at the driving gear and fixed support at the driven gear. Is this method correct ? -

SubscriberYou could swap them. Fix the driving gear, put a negative moment on the driven gear, but you will get an almost identical result.
