Hello,
I am working on an oil platform. I have set up a share topology contact between the materials. I have set fixed support to the plate from the bottom side of the rings. I wanted to perform a modal analysis. But this simulation do not converge, maybe it is due to not enough stiff geometry or meshing issues. The model can be downloaded by this link. If you can solve this on your computer can you say how to do it?

Due to campany policies, Ansys employees cannot download any attachments or files. Could you attach some images and expand a bit more on the error message you are getting? What does the error message say? Does it suggest any corrections?

SubscriberUnfortunately I can't open your model since I'm using 2019 R1.
Did you add density to your materials used in engineering data? Forgetting to add density for modal analysis is a common mistake.Â
