mixture properties, volumetric reaction, boundary species. Ansys Fuent 2023R2

      Hi everyone,
I analyze a computational model that uses the mixture model.
I have 8 species. But there are only 7 species auto-imported in the "boundary species" section. I tried to do it many times. Specie that appear last on the list are not automatically included in the “boundary species” section. Could you suggest another way to fix it? Thanks a lot

      Hi,

Selected Boundary species are the species that will be available at the boundary condition input panel. You can provide mass/mole fraction of these species at the given boundary. The fraction of this missing species will be internally computed as 1- sum of species fraction of boundary species you have provided at the boundary. Fluent solves n-1 species and whatever isn't the "others" is the last one in the species list.

In relation to the above content, could I ask you how to change from a fluid grid cell to a porous medium cell in Ansys Fluent? the assumption that, after reaction processing, the volume of species considering magnitude at the plug interface for each cell is computed. The grid cell has a volume of species greater than Vcell to change from a fluid grid cell to a porous medium cell.
