Hello,

FDTD is a time domain method so it is able to simulate nonlinear effects. Lumerical has some built-in nonlinear materials available: Advanced and custom optical material models in FDTD and MODE – Ansys Optics

Here are some examples of simulations using nonlinear materials: Nonlinear optics - list of examples – Ansys Optics

However, simulations with nonlinear materials tend to be more complicated than simulations with only linear materials. Some of the challenges are discussed here: Nonlinear and gain methodology – Ansys Optics
